Ahza Rex
Ahza Rex (he/him) is a Korean American of Northern European descent—a mythmaker, artist, engineer, and violinist whose work bridges the sacred and the wild. Born in Arizona, he studied Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University and spent time abroad in South Korea. After graduating, he moved to Colorado, where he hiked many of the state’s 14ers and developed a deep love for backpacking and climbing.
Soon after, Rex relocated to San Francisco, working in various startups before spending five and a half years at Apple. He now resides in Spain, where the land itself continues to speak—and he continue to listen.
Rex backpacked 500 miles of the Appalachian Trail and journeyed across Europe, devouring mythologies from around the world. Rex speaks from lived pilgrimage—guiding others to awaken, remember, and return to balance.
A child of Pan in his own mythos, Rex channels ancestral memory, ecological reverence, and visionary storytelling into poetic invocations and mythic parables. His work emerges from deep listening to the land and is rooted in the wisdom of breath, body, and elemental forces.
When not creating, he enjoys board games, Dungeons & Dragons, long hikes, and swimming in the sea.
