So’hum. I am.

So’hum (Ahza Rex, 2026)

So’hum. I am. I am that I am.

The universe exists within me as I exist within it.

Therefore, I have a responsibility to the universe—

To consider my actions and its effects.

I am joyful. I am kind. I am compassionate. I am caring. I am creative.

I am also prideful. I am envious. I am jealous. I am resentful.

I am sad. I am mournful. I am angry.

I am powerful. I am violent. I am destructive.

I am afraid. I am brave. I am weak. I am strong.

I am that.

I feel what is within me, and what is around me.

A bird’s song. The changing of the winds. The rise of memory.

Bursts of emotions.

I feel others as I feel myself—distinct, yet woven.

Desires independent and in relation to one another.

Not one story, but a weave of billions of threads.

We are all interconnected.

And so I understand: To act is to affect the whole.

Love without consideration is incomplete.

I am transgender.

I am who my soul knows itself to be within this weave.

I am Ahza Rex. I am a joyful cry.

I exist within this wonderful, expansive universe.

I am afraid. I am brave. I am strong.

I am here.

So’hum.
